  UV Sterilization Technology is a important method in the modern field of hygiene and disinfection, which has widely applied in recent yeas. This progress is simple and intuitive but contains potent technology power. The core of the working principle of ultraviolet disinfection is the short wavelength of ultraviolet light waves. This wavelength could penetrate the cell walls and cell membranes of microorganisms and then directly interact with the genetic material inside microorganisms ---DNA and RNA. Ultraviolet light causes the reproductive function of microorganisms to be completely inhibited by breaking the chemical bonds in this genetic material . In brief, it is like an invisible knife that cuts off the growth chain of pathogens, causing them unable to reproduce.

  

  Let us take an example to understand it better: if bacterium is a high-efficiency factory, ultraviolet is a precise engineer who dismantles the key parts that the factory can work. Without this important parts, the factory can't continue production thus leading to the complete collapse of the entire system. In fact,  the ability of ultraviolet sterilization has been proved widely. Many places with extremely strict standards for environmental hygiene, for instance, hospitals,labs and food processing factories have adopted ultraviolet disinfection as a key technology. The advantages of ultraviolet disinfection are extremely obvious. It need not any chemistry ,so it does not produce secondary pollution and is friendly to environment. Compared with traditional disinfection methods such as using chemical disinfectants or thermal disinfection, ultraviolet sterilization does not require additional material consumption or high-temperature operations which deeply decrease the problem of chemical residues in disinfection progress. Whether for drinking water ,air or food surface ,the eco-friendly nature of ultraviolet sterilization technology is undoubtedly a huge advantage.

   

  In the future, it is believed that ultraviolet disinfection will surely be more widely applied through its characteristics of thorough disinfection and being harmless to the human body.
